Here Froggie Froggie....

We took a little adventure today with our best friends to hunt for tadpoles. Well, after much searching and mudding we came up with one tadpole and one frog. We had fun searching and the kids had a blast playing in the water. We even sent Logan into a pond that was behind a rod iron fence. Nothing wrong with that is there? It was a lot of fun to watch the kids search and help eachother. Tyson (the little boy in red in the first picture) thought that everything in sight was a frog or tadpole. We had a nice little picnic and let the kids play to their hearts content in the canal. I am thinking we will spend a lot of time at this park as it gets hotter.

I thought of the movies "My Girl" and "Bridge to Teribithia" as I was watching JD and BayLee. They are the best of friends-even when they're not. He was sweet enough to give her the only tadpole that Logan had caught. Such a sweetheart.

Logan searched and searched every ounce of water. He was determined to make all the kids happy.

The search goes on.....

The other brave mom! She is the greatest!!!!!
*Please note, there aren't any pictures of Mia. She was there but since there was water involved......she stayed in the stroller. Still working on the fear.(I did dip her toes in though-She proceeded to freak out.)

lol... sounds like you all had a blast and Logan did awesome at finding just what you were looking for! Its not easy finding tadpoles, so he must have really sharp eyes! :) What did you end up naming your new pets? I had fun watching your facebook updates off and on throughout the day... looking for a tadpole... gaining both a tadpole and a frog... what a fun summer at your house! Can't wait to hear what you all will do next! ;)

The tadpole is named "Taddy" and we named the frog "goggles" for my friend Ellie!! :) Now Logan is afraid the frog is going to die-he won't put it in the pond in the backyard, he won't put it in the fish tank so the poor frog is still in a jar. ONly time will tell.....
