Coolest Punk Rocker
Cute Super Girl (Take note of the "girl" behind her. It took me until the party was almost over to realize it was her friend Laife-who is really a boy)

This is Mia right before she fell out of her stroller, thanks to me. Note-She is ok!

The PUNK ROCKER!!! Scary thing is-he was really good at it. :)

I LOVE Halloween. I had so much fun this morning watching the Parade at Red Mountain Elementary School. When I saw Logan come through I was really sad, this is his last year at the Elementary School, it is really hitting me hard all of a sudden. He is growing up so much and amongst the grief he sometimes gives me, he is such a sweet kid. ANYWAYS, back to Halloween. I was also able to be the Party Mom for BayLees class and it was so much fun. I love being with kids. Maybe I was meant to be a teacher-who knows. :)
We did a pinata, crafts, and musical Pumpkins.
Here are a few pics of the day, and I am sure we will have pics for the night.

Pumpkin Carving

I know, it is a little late to post about pumpkin carving. We did this Monday for Family Home Evening. So much fun, but a lot of work. I ended up being a spectator, because Mia was feeling a little under the weather. Adam was trying to make new creations using modeling tools. Logan was doing whatever Adam was doing, and BayLee was just happy in her own world.
So fun to watch the kids use their creativity. Logan did his all on his own, I can't believe he is 10 and growing up so quickly.

What Happens When Logan Spends Time With Dad

Logan spent the day with Adam while I was busy with Super Saturday. He had a lot of fun apparently. Actually he was really good. He just hung out with Adam at work and then they had to go help a friend of ours and Logan got a hold of a Sharpee. He was putting little dots on Adam so Adam got a hold of black eyeliner and Sharpee and turned Logan into a French Dude. I about died!!!! Most of it has come of but it was really hard to look at Logan today with eyeliner around his eye (wouldn't come off). I kept telling him it really brings out his eyes. Thank heavens the rest came off in tonights bath. I don't know how he would have explained wearing makeup to his friends at school in the morning.
Adam and Logan have great times together. They are one in the same and love to tease eachother. They keep me going for sure!!!!

Thank Heaven for Brothers

Mia loves Logan and Logan loves Mia. They are so cute together. Her whole face brightens up when he walks in the room. She thinks he is the funniest person around. I think it is because he is so animated and full of energy. I hope they grow up being close. They have 10 years between
them which is a big gap. My brother and I have a 7 1/2 year gap and now that we are older we are close. I hope Mia and Logan are able to confide in one another and that he will protect her and she will be there for him too. I think brothers are awesome and I am so glad that Mia has a sister and a brother. One lucky girl.

Photo Tag

I got tagged by Ellie and Tif.

The rules are that you pick the 4th photo from the 4th folder in your picture gallery and tell the story. Then you tag 4 other people. I thought this was really cool.
This was Easter 2004! I think I may have opened the wrong folder-THIS IS OLD!!!! So much fun. Not much of a story to tell. Easter bunny left eggs, Bay found the eggs, Bay ate the candy in the eggs, Bay got a tummy ache, Logan had an even bigger tummy ache!!!!!
I tag: Maggie, Brandy, Amber, Stephanie

Mia Mia Mia

Since Mia slept through the whole pumpkin patch adventure, I decided to take some fall pictures of her at my parents house. I took about 50 (no exaggeration) and had to pick six for the blog!!! That was hard. They all turned out so cute. I love Mia so much, she brings such peace into my quite hectic life. I love the time we have together one on one during the week. I get the best cuddles, snuggles, and loves. Her big blue eyes totally melt my heart.

Pumpkin Patch

Posted by Picasa
We spent a few days with Grandma and Grandpa up in Cedar City. While we were there we headed to Paragonah and went to the Pumpkin Patch. We had a great time searching for the "perfect" one. My favorite picture is of BayLee and Logan walking away, so cute. BayLee took FOREVER to pick one. The crop wasn't too good because of the frost they had a couple of weeks ago but there was still a great selection to choose from. We have made this a tradition-last year and this year. Hopefully next year Adam can go with us. We miss him when we do things like this but we are grateful he works so hard for us.

Funny Story

Ok, sometimes I just need to take the time to listen to my kids a little closer instead of just "half listen". I am so glad I caught a moment like this.
Imagine this, Adam got home from work and we sat down around the table to eat our dinner. Every evening we go around the table and talk about our "high" and "low" moment of the day. We do this to encourage conversation and try to eliminate table arguing amongst siblings.
Anyway, we all went around the table and shared our thoughts. There were a few moments of silence (not too many of those moments at the Dover house). Then BayLee said "Hey, at school we are learning about skeletons and bones." She points to her head and says "This is my cranium and this is....." She pauses and I am thinking ok, she will need help with tibia, or something like that so I am ready to help when she says "Mom, where is my Flatulism bone?"
OH MY GOSH!! Adam and I about fell out of our chairs. And Logan says(as we are laughing and BayLee is all of a sudden very selfconcious) "Uh BayLee, Flatulism is another word for farting". (I didn't make Logan sit in the corner five minutes for saying that word this time-gave him a free one for trying to help) :)
Although a little crude,t his is one of those moments I don't ever want to forget. Pure innocence. I LOVE BEING A MOM!!!!!

Deck Your Halls Swap

I just did a swap through a blog called Sunshine and Lemonade and had so much fun that I convinced Brandy to do one on our other blog Some of This and Some of That. We are doing a Holiday Decorating theme.
What it is,if you don't know, is you will get someones information and put together a package for them with Christmas Decorations and someone else (that you don't have) will do the same thing for you. I did it because I am sick of just getting bills in the mail!!!!! The package needs to have at least a 20 dollar VALUE but that doesn't mean you have to spend 20 dollars. I hit clearances and stuff and did a dang cute package.
So come check it out and see if you want to do it. It really was fun.

We were able to spend some time with the cousins this weekend. I am so grateful that we have family. The sad thing is we don't get to see them very often. Ajay and BayLee had so much fun playing and baby Annalisa is so stinking cute!!! I must say there is nothing more fun than being an Aunt. Although BayLee and Logan would say there is nothing more fun than having cousins. Love you Ajay and Annalisa! Can't wait to play again.

It wasn't supposed to happen this fast!!!! One week she wasn't crawling around everywhere and now she is exploring everything!!! She made it into her and BayLees room (door wasn't shut like it was suppose to be) and I thought she was in the living room playing with the toys you can see scattered all over. Well, I go to feed her and don't see her so I start searching. She was in the bedroom happy as can be playing with a black marker!!!!! Of course I first try to blame Bay for not closing the door but then I just decided to laugh. She was happy so what does it matter. But being the great brother he is Logan ran to the computer to to make sure that they are non-toxic. Needless to say, we are going to go over the door shutting rules!!

We Have Gone Mobile!!

I was busy making lunch and noticed that it was quiet (which is not normal for our circus) and I could account for everyone but Mia. Little by little she has been scooting but hasn't dared leave the carpeted living room. Well, BayLee started laughing and pointed down the hallway. Mia was helping herself to the books :). So needless to say it is time to babyproof the Dover house. We looked for plug pluggers (there has got to be a better word for them than that) but the ones we found looked too hard for me to figure out. :) So we finally found the good ole plastic pluggers, glad they have left simple things on the market!

In the Cookies of Life, Sisters are the Chocolate Chips

I always wanted a sister. I thought it would be fun to have a sister. I thought it would be heaven. Well, BayLee and Mia are already the greatest of friends. I have always been jealous of my friends that had sisters to hang out with and confide in. BayLee is such a proud big sister. I thought the novelty would wear off and thankfully it hasn't. Mia can't make a peep without Bay checking on her. I hope they will always be close. I hope they are always
the first to find out eachothers news, whether it is happy or sad. I hope that when the day comes of toy sharing, clothing sharing, boys, friends, and everything else that is ahead of them they will always be close. These are some moments caught of the two of them together.

I Must Admit I am Addicted

I think I have a problem. A very BIG problem. I am addicted to Blogging. I eat it, sleep it, drink it, and smell it. In church on Sunday we had a lesson about keeping our compasses pointed in the right direction. Keeping our priorities straight, then my dear friend Mindy said that she spent way too much time blogging. Then it HIT ME- I HAVE A PROBLEM!!! I thought it was normal to make your 6 year old make her own Ramen, I thought it was normal to let your house get messy, I thought it was normal to let the laundry go until you are out of clothes (ok, not quite that bad!). But I realized I had spent way to much time on my computer over the past few weeks since my oldest have been in school.
I ran across this quote from President Hinckley on another blog (of course):

"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience."Gordon B. Hinckley ~ 2006

It was then that I realized it is OK to Blog but I need to keep everything else in balance. I love to write in Journals, I love to scrapbook, I love to see other peoples scrapbooks. So, all in all blogging is a good therapy session and I love to be inspired by other people. I think I will be ok and I have made my daughter Ramen since Sundays AHA moment!!!!!!!
