Sweet Angels

After a long summer day I often just love to sit on the end of the kids beds and talk with them about their days. My favorite time of the day is when I get to put them to bed. Not because they are going to bed but because it is a time I get to hear them pray and know what is on their minds. BayLee and Logan say wonderful prayers, they really open their hearts and I am amazed at what they pray for. I also love to read to them. This has been a tradition from the beginning. Mia is already getting a bedtime story-it is my time to let them know how much I love them. The day may have been really crummy but at the end of the day we close with a hug and a kiss and always look forward to the next day. I love to watch them sleep, they look like angels and you wonder how you could have ever gotten after them for anything they may have done that day. Children are angels and I sure love mine!!!! :) I am grateful to be a mother and I am honored my heavenly father sent me three of his children to mother during their mortal life. I am thankful that we are an eternal family. I can't imagine my life without you. I love you!!!!!!

What happens in Vegas......

We had so much fun in Las Vegas this past weekend. Grandma and Grandpa took the Grandkids to the Barnum and Bailey circus and of course mom had to go too!!! We had a lot of adventures that we won't humiliate ourselves by admitting, hence what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!!! My mom had the wonderful idea to take the kids to the conservatory in the Bellagio hotel. Man, was it beautiful. I haven't ever seen so many pretty flowers in one place. Everything was made with flowers. The kids really liked it. There was also a HUGE fountain of melted chocolate. It was heaven!!!!

Picture worth a million

BayLee wanted to break right through
the glass and eat the chocolate.

I have SUPER cute kiddos!

I had to post this because this is rare!!!

Mia loved every minute.

The Venetian

Of course we had to go in the Venetian. AWWW Venice. I could have stayed there all day long. The grand canale, gelato, murano glass, carnevale masks, St. Marks Square, Squatting toilets.....Just kidding. The kids had a great time following the gondolas down the canale.

Some day I will go back!!!!

Fun at the Circus!

Aren't these glasses cool??? Logan loved the circus. He could have stayed all night long. His favorite part was the motorcycles inside of a steel ball. They fit seven motorcyles in it......I had to turn my head, couldn't watch it. But Logan wanted to give it a try. :)

These elephants were awesome. This was
by far my favorite part. Watching them
work together and do things that you wouldn't
think were possible.

Of course BayLees favorite part was.....ALL OF IT!!!! She really liked her name being in the title of the Circus!!!! The clowns were also a big hit. Mia just slept through it and Grandma and Grandpa had a great time watching the kids enjoy it. P.s. The elephants must have eaten right before they came out because stinky things started happening when they laid down :)

I live here why?

Ok, Ok, Ok. I ask myself this question every single summer. I don't know how we survive the summer heat here in St. George but somehow we manage. We have to live the philosophy, "If it has to be done outside and it is after 10 a.m......TOUGH!!!" The kids don't even like going outside. It turns into a ghost town. Goodbye outside, hello movies, mall, wal-mart, Deseret Industries, walk in freezers......and where ever else it is cool!!!!

If BayLee were a Car!!!

I'm a Ford Mustang!

You're an American classic -- fast, strong, and bold. You're not snobby or pretentious, but you have what it takes to give anyone a run for their money.

If Logan were a car!

I'm a Honda S2000!

You live on the edge, and you live for the adrenaline rush. You don't need luxuries, snob appeal, or superfluous gadgets. You put your top down, get your motor revving, and take all the curves that life throws at you at full speed. So what if you spin out occasionally?

If Mandee were a car!

I'm a Mazda RX-8!

You're sporty, yet practical, and you have a style of your own. You like to have fun, and you like to bring friends along for the ride, but when it comes time for everyday chores, you're willing to do your part.

If Adam were a Car!

I'm a Ferrari 360 Modena!

You've got it all. Power, passion, precision, and style. You're sensuous, exotic, and temperamental. Sure, you're expensive and high-maintenance, but you're worth it.

BayLees Bday Party

This was a great party! We just had it at the Splash Pad park not too far away from our house. I told her she could invite who ever she wanted if we had it there. The kids just played in the water for an hour, then we had cake and opened presents! Talk about easy. They had a wonderful time, especially BayLee. There were 11 boys and 3 girls, would I do it again???YES, it was so much fun to watch the kids play and work things out. At one time J.D. got hit by another boy and BayLee said"Don't worry I will take care of it" and she marched over to a group of about four boys and they all backed up into a wall (they knew they were in for it) and she asked, "ok, who hit J.D. and why?" Her little friend Noah quickly said "It wasn't me, BayLee" then Luke said, "Me neither". This only left one little boy and BayLee said, "Noone hits J.D." It was so funny to watch them just back into a corner!!!!! I may be in some serious trouble in the future. :)

Logan wanted to suprise her with a cake.

This picture really made me laugh. Look at all the little boys

lined up to give BayLee their presents. So cute.....a sign of what is to come!

This balloon was a hit! It played music...again....again... (Thanks Brandy :)

BayLee and J.D. are so fun to watch Fun in the Sun. Easiest party I have ever done!!!!

HOLY MOLY!! That is a lot of kids. The sad thing is three kids are
missing from the picture.(couldn't fit them all)

Grandma Boggess had them doing races. What a
great idea. They loved it.

Happy Birthday BayLee

I can't believe that BayLee is six years old!!!! I had fun doing this little project....brought back memories. I must admit she is pretty dang cute!!!!!

Dream Come True

Every Christmas and Birthday that BayLee has had if you were to ask her what she wants, the answer would be "A horseback ride". She somehow got this into her blood because her mom is allergic to them but she has a deep passion for horses. Anyways, Grandma and Grandpa Boggess wanted to get her one for her birthday (a ride, not a horse) so Adam lined one up with our friend Amber. BayLee was blindfolded on our way to the corral and when the blindfold was taken off her face was priceless. She is now going to get lessons. We are pretty excited.

This is called Horse Heaven
Is it me or is she far off the ground?????

This picture says it all. Does she not look like the happiest girl in the west???
We need it framed Grandpa!!!!
She is a natural.

When ya gotta go ya gotta go!

Ok , this happened almost a week ago but it has taken me this long to get over the embarrasment. So, Adam and I were on a date eating Mexican food and I had decided to hold Mia instead of having her be stuck in her car seat while Adam and I enjoyed ourselves. Well, all was going great, the mood, the conversation, the company.......when all of a sudden Mia decides to well, how do I put it, to fill her diaper with "#2". I look down and see it coming up her back side and headed over her shorts, I look up at Adam with a "HELP ME: (not sure what I expected him to do). Then Mia decides to finish her job and it goes up and over her shorts and continues down my lap, onto the seat, and ends up on my bottomside. OH MY GOSH!!!! I was dying, so I pick up Mia, cover my bottom with the diaper bag and proceed the one room bathroom. OF COURSE no changing table so I pull a blanket out of the bag and put Mia on that. I then take my pants and run them under the sink.......DUH should have looked to see if there was a dryer first (in the mean time Mia is talking, laughing, blowing raspberries.....she has no idea her mom is about to cry!) I look around for the hand dryer to dry my pants and NO DRIER!!! THERE ARE PAPER TOWELS!!! In the mean time people are banging on the door to come in. I looked for a hole for her and I to somehow disappear. So, after I was unable to find a worm hole to travel in I got dressed (Mia was dressed right away of course I carry extra clothes for her), covered up with the diaper bag and had NO desire to eat refried beans and rice so we headed out and Adam got me some other clothes while I waited in the car. IT WAS TERRIBLE but I can finally laugh about it. ISn't it fun to be a parent..... I LOVE IT!!!!!

Hot Cocoa?

BayLee had her friend Grace over and after they played in the Hot Tub they both wanted Hot chocolate. I just have to let you know we got up to 100 degrees today. They looked so cute in their dress up clothes drinking Hot chocolate.

OH MY GOODNESS!This is one of the best days of my life. I just found out that my Bestfriend from Italy got her and I tickets to New Kids on The Block. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to go to the concert AND to see Ellie. I haven't seen her since 1992. That is forever ago......WHAT A REUNION!!! Sounds like an Oprah show or something. :) I need to find NKOTB stuff on Ebay baby!!!!!!!! We are on the 25th row on the floor. I am jumping for joy...........

Many faces of my wife

My wife Mandee can make the strangest faces! She has a very animated personality and it surely comes through with her facial expressions. The one face she didn't make for me is her trademark "gizmo" face but that will have to for another blog. I noticed she wasn't anywhere really on this blog so I will do my part and put her whole personality on here! Love ya Bella!

Eat your Heart out Rachel Ray!

Adam made the best shiskabobs for dinner. We marinated the chicken all day long in Teriyaki sauce. He then got every color of peppers he could find, mushrooms, and onions. SO delicious, I love that Adam gets colorful with cooking, he is artistic so he makes his food that way too. You should see his lattice cherry pies!!!!! What's for dinner tonight honey???

It really is a miracle how resiliant little babies are. Today I had one of the scariest things happen. BayLee, Mia, and I were having a fun girls day out (Logan is with Grandma and Grandpa for the week). We had gone to the mall, Wal-mart, and visited Dad at work. Well, we thought we would do a little grocery shopping before we went home. Well, BayLee was tired so she wanted to sit in the back of the cart( i usually don't let her). Mia was in her car seat on the handle part, locked in. Well, as I was grabbing coke off the shelf BayLee was trying to climb out. Got her foot stuck on the edge of the cart and the cart started to fall. I turn around and say an excplicite word that summed up what I was feeling and Mias car seat went falling off the cart. I screamed and ran to her unaware that BayLee was still under the cart! I call Adam and he came running and turned from dad to EMT and made sure they were both ok. We all were ok, just a little shook up. Thank heavens for car seats and really they are both ok. But my advice to all you people is NEVER let your child stand up in the cart or let them climb out. That was my stupid fault and I am still beating myself up over it. Thank you to the nice Albertsons people and the man in the yellow shirt. :)

Discovery Park

We took the kids to a great park in Cedar City. We spent quite awhile there, had a KFC picnic. Grandpa played some catch with Logan and BayLee. Logan and BayLee made a few new friends and also held their own against a few others!!!Gotta watch out for those park bullies :) Logan found a wallet and we were able to return it to the owner. I was proud of Logan for bringing it right to me. What a good kiddo.

Aren't Grandmas the best
Don't ask me why he HAD to get on TOP of the car??!!??!!A cop car at that!!!
I loved this innocent and cute.
I can't believe he is turning 10! Doesn't he look so grown up.
Look at those Baby Blue eyes.
