Mia's first Solid

HOLY MOLY~~ I can't believe it is time for solids. I must say I got a little teary eyed as I first fed her. Time is just going so quickly with her, I don't remember it going this fast with the other two. She really liked the first few bites but quickly changed her mind once she discovered that rice cereal isn't all that great. I am going to mix the next bunch with applesauce. Buon Apetito!

Hidden Oasis

Today we found a great park! My great friends and our gaggle of children went on a picnic and playdate. There is a great park in Hidden Valley with a HUGE playground and a splash pad. We seriously could have stayed there all day. They all had a wonderful time and when I say ALL I mean 5 rambuxious boys and one moody girl and two baby girls. They had fun getting wet and getting eachother wet. Water shooting out of the ground wasn't good enough, they had to empty our drinking waters on eachothers head-what is it in the human nature that makes us want to have water fights? It was really fun to sit back and watch kids have fun. Thank heavens for parks and thank heavens for 80 degree weather (won't be able to say that much longer).

Four months Old

I can't believe how fast time goes! It takes forever for

these precious babies to get here but once they do they

grow so quickly. She had her 4 month checkup today and

is 13 lbs 8oz and 25 1/2 inches long. She got four shots and

has an ear infection-poor girl is being picked on~~But through

all that she is still smiling and loves to blow raspberries (note

her slobbered face~~). She has brought our family so much joy.

We love you Mia Sophia and we are so glad to have you as

a part of our family!!!! :)

Thank You President Bush For The Wii

Thanks to good Ole President Bush and the stimulus check the Dovers helped stimulate the economy by buying a wii!!! Oh my gosh, I am not a video game person but the wii is fantastic. Lastweekend Logan and Adam went on a campout and that left Bay and I with the wii! We had so much fun playing The Playground that we stayed up until 11:30 playing it and Bay slept in until 10:00 the next morning. You can tell by the pics that Logan didn't even waste time putting on a shirt after his bath when they got back. Needless to say BayLee and I haven't layed one hand on the wii since. Thank heavens for Fathers and Sons about another one this weekend:)

Talk about serious game face
Look at me and SMILE!!!!!!

Daddys little Girls

From the first time I saw your faces -
in awe of your lives so new,
I knew that a piece of my heart
would always belong to you.
Whether you'll love wearing jeans
or love donning ribbons and pearls,
You were from the start -
and you'll always be

The Leader of the Pack

The joys of scouting!!! I am not what you would call a very involved scout mom but I realized that Logan was only two months away from becoming a Weblo and still hadn't earned his Bear, so I looked through his book and we hauled bootie to get it lastnight at Pack meeting. Now we all know Mormon standard time and by 7:15 the Dover Family was the only family there (started at 7:00 and we got there at 6:50). I thought I had lucked out and would be able to go home and watch American Idol but people started showing up and Pack Meeting started at 7:25. Logan received his Bear and since mom didn't know that you had to earn the Bear before you could earn arrows he got a whole bunch of arrows too! No wonder he wasn't getting any of the awards we had been working on!!!!! Now he can start working on more arrows. We are so proud of him and know that he will continue be a great scout. Although lastnight he received the "Leave No Trace Behind" award he asked the Den Leader (or whatever she is called!)if he could litter now that he had received the award. You gotta love his honesty. P.s. Adam was behind the camera.

Logan receiving his Bear Award from Sister Mackey.
It Pays to Show up on time!! The Dover
Family won a Chinese Checkers Game!

Receiving the Mothers Pin I love you Logan

More Fun in the sun with the boys

Logan and Adam love to go and play in the water, they some times take their toys with them and here are some of those toys! They really love RC toys. They have planes, trains and automobiles, rockets, and helicopters. Adam is really good at making them from scratch.

Adams Little Tug Boat *North Star*(made from scratch)

Adams Sail Boat *Sanabel*(made from kit)

Adams Gas Boat *Little Red*(found in attic!)

Logan was caught off gaurd when Adam brought the boat up behind him!

Adams Big Gas Boat *Big Red*(aka CokeCola)(made from scratch)

The boys really seem to enjoy each other when they go out playing.
Logan really wants to be just like his dad in everyway including the ability to build toys.

Our Friends Day at Top Gun

This is our friend and Adams flying buddy Walt Fletcher. He was invited to participate in the Top Gun World Championships. It is a great honor to be requested to fly in the Top Gun. He is such a talented guy, and has a heart of gold. He built this Fokker from scratch ( I saw it in the Hobby Hut in the early stages). Adam use to fly with Walt all of the time-which he really misses.

Last week of school????IMPOSSIBLE!

I cannot believe that we are entering the last week of school. It seems like yesterday I was wiping away kindergarten tears (make note the tears were from my eyes-not BayLees), and now Kindergarten and fourth grade have gone away. This year has gone by so quickly and my children were blessed with great teachers. The best news is that I can't tell you if the principal has changed her office around. Why? You ask? Because this is the first year I haven't had to visit with her!!!! That in itself has been a blessing! :) We have had a lot go on this year. Logan was in the Sign Language Club, the School Choir, he competed in the geography bee, did a report on Weber County (WHO DID THE REPORT!?!?!?!?!), Made a covered wagon for his pioneer report, Track day, and many parties. BayLee being in kindergarten didn't do as much but she got a good deed noticed certificate, reading coupons for Pizza Hut, accomplished crayon goals and was able to attend the end of year party for completing all crayons, was the Star of the Week, and their whole class won for walking the most miles around the track. Their school is trying to become a gold medal school by being healthy and active.
I am sad to see the school year end but I am excited to see what first and fifth grade has in store!! I will be sure to let you know!!! :) We love Red Mountain Elementary!!!!!!! Note to self:AVOID PTO PRESIDENT- THEY WILL TRY TO GET YOU TO BE PRESIDENT!!!!!

Everyday BayLee gets a book she has to read and
has to get it signed off. Her favorite part of the day is when she can read her book to her dad. It is their little bonding session and they both look forward to it. She is quite the reader and is so ready for first grade. We had her Kindergarten testing this past week and she passed with flying colors. Her teacher Mrs. Atwood is a great teacher and BayLee loves her so much she wants to move to Salt Lake where Mrs. Atwood will be going next year. Silly girl. This is just like her though, she still misses "Teacher Marnie" from Preschool.

Just chillin!!!

Isn't down time wonderful???? I could find plenty of pictures of Mia and BayLee just chillin out but pictures of Logan doing that are rare so I think I am putting one on the blog that is already on my blog. Some of my favorite times are when we are just all relaxing and doing our own things. Mia LOVES her down time! So cute. Can't believe we are approaching four months old. Crazy how fast time flies!

Hey Batter Batter!

BayLee had her first t-ball game tonight. We were at 90 degrees yesterday dying of heat and then today at the game it was windy, gray, and FREEZING!!!! BayLee did so good. She is the only girl on her team and had a blast. Tonight they played her bestfriend JDs team. He was so cute to her at the game, he was on first when she was hitting and he got the ball after she hit it and he took his time getting to first so she wouldn't be out. It was really cute to watch. What would we all do without friends????We would be sad.

Dads are great

Aren't dads great? My kids love it when dad gets home.
Mia looks just like Adam and he thinks that is pretty cool.
I just want him to know and the blog world to know how
much I love him. He is the best.

It's a bird, It's a plane, It's a.....HOT TUB???

We got a hot tub lastnight and our friend brought his crane truck over to move it. It was pretty cool, the kids were amazed and my silly dog kept getting in the way and almost became a Luke patty! I was pretty tempted to let the crane pick up a kid or two for a wild ride. It looks like Hot Tub parties at the Dover house!!!!! (Please ignore the christmas lights!)

A Remote Control truck???
A new meaning to men at work
A floating hot tub!!!
This made it all worth it!!!!

Hangin' Tough is on my cell phone as a main ringer and the looks I get from people are great. I will forever love the NKOTB and hope I can make it to one of their concerts....YES THEY ARE MAKING A COMEBACK!!!! Call me crazy but Jordan is still HOT. Thanks Ellie for the pic.

Springtime Fun

Well, well, well. Spring has arrived and the weather has been beautiful. We reached 85 yesterday. We have been staying outside until the sun goes down every night this week. BayLee and Logan have busted out the bikes, scooters, skateboards, name it, it is out all over the backyard. The dog Luke has even been enjoying the company out there (he has peed one to many times in my house and has been banned from re-entering!).

My Happy Go Lucky Girl
This was sooo funny-all three
of them had the same confused look on their
faces (Not sure why)
