Too Cute to Pass Up

This morning I put Mia in her carseat to take Logan and BayLee to school and she was sooooo happy. She is getting to the smiley laughing stage and is so very cute!!!! I just couldn't resist taking pictures of her precious smile. I asked BayLee if I could eat Mia up since she was so cute and BayLee said "As long as I get her fingers and toes". So needless to say we are loving her to pieces. Isn't it amazing being a mother??? I couldn't ask for a better job. Ok enough of the sappiness......... 11 weeks old.

LA LA LA LA LA

Logan had a busy day today. After Track And Field day came to an end he had his spring concert. He has had so much fun being in the choir and has entertained us with his singing. He did a great job and we had fun watching him perform. They even sang FOOTLOOSE!!! He moved from being a "softrano" to an "altoid". Those are his words!!!!!

Run Run As Fast As You Can!

Today was Logans trackday. He is in the blue shirt. It was so cold outside that the kids had a hard time running. He did awesome and we are proud of him! All the kids were so cold that a teacher went back to the school and cleared out the lost and found coats and spread them out amongst the freezing popsicicle children! Of course the coats were returned and became lost and not found once again!

E-I-E-I-O

Today I was privileged enough to go with BayLees Kindergarten class to the Hafen Farm. Talk about STINKY!!! The wind was blowing so hard that we were getting the smells from chicken messes, cow messes, and pig messes all at the same time. BayLee started gagging about half way through it and I thought she was going to join two boys that were SICK...... I had to bury her face into my jacket so she couldn't smell anything. :) It is a really cool farm though. He has this little one and then he has another one that is 850 acres up in northern Utah. He is a really nice farmer and let the kids touch the animals. Since it is spring the baby piglets were hanging out-I must say the babies are cuter than the adults!!!!!

PUCKER UP!!!
Keep one eye on the Cows
What is that FUNKY smell????

A Geocaching Kind of Day

Today was General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints so we didn't have church. Twice a year the prophet and apostles give terrific talks full of guidance, reassurance, advice, and love. Well, there are two 2-hour sessions on Sunday and we were able to listen to the talks while we were in the car geocaching. Geocaching is a treasure hunt type of deal using a GPS. The kids had so much fun looking for the hidden caches full of trinkets to trade. It is a great way to spend the day as a family and a great way to see different parts of town you wouldn't normally see. For more information about Geocaching go to www.geocaching.com.

Spending the Weekend with Great Grandma

I took BayLee and Mia up to Salt Lake this weekend. We went to cousin Ajays house for a couple of days and spent three days with Great Grandma. She is 99 years old and she is the happiest person I know. She is indeed an inspiration to me and my family. BayLee loved reading her books to Great Grandma and loves to drink her chocolate milk. Mia would just look at Great Grandma and smile (I know the picture doesn't catch that too well :) We had a great time and we love you Great Grandma!!!!! Should've taken a four generation picture DARN IT!!!!!
